The Hiromu Kameoka lab at CAS Center for Excellence in Molecular Plant Sciences (CEMPS) is seeking a lab manager. We are working on the symbiosis between plants and fungi and trying to reveal the mechanisms by which they find and recognize their symbiotic partners. The purpose of this position is to facilitate our lab running smoothly,communicating with the PI and other lab members,and help with research projects.

Job Duties

Oversee general lab functioning and maintenance,including:

1. Manage and enforce budgets

2. Order supplies and equipment

3. Help to keep the lab clean and organized

4. Maintain the lab website

5. Manage transgenic plants according to the institute's regulations

6. Manage chemicals according to the institute's regulations

7. Basic lab experiments

Minimum Qualification

1.?Chinese and English language ability

2.?Good communication skills

Preferred Qualification

1.?Experience as a lab manager or administrative positions in universities or institute

2.?Experience of experiments in life science
